Jason Florio – currently documenting the Mediterranean crisis for MOAS.EU
Filming an interview with N. – as part of a MOAS.EU documentary – a Syrian refugee who has now been resettled in a small village in southern Germany, along with members of her family. They were all rescued earlier this year by the MOAS Responder SAR team, from the Aegean Sea, when their overcrowded rubber dinghy got into trouble in stormy waters, during their third attempt to make the often treacherous crossing from Turkey to Greece. I was onboard the Responder boat when the rescue took place. JF
